Boasting a splendid family, Parents’ Reward will join the stallion roster at Louis Gurino’s Lou-Roe Farm for the 2006 season.
The seven-year-old winning son of Mr. Prospector will stand for $1,500 at the farm in Morriston, Florida, after standing his first three seasons for $2,000 at Blazing Meadows Farm.
Out of the stakes-winning Caveat mare Beware of the Cat, Parents’ Reward is a half brother to 2002 European champion two-year-old colt Hold That Tiger and 1996 Belmont Stakes (G1) winner and sire Editor’s Note. He also is a half brother to stakes winners Catnip and Catfriend and is from the family of Hennessy.
