A syndicate has acquired 2002 Fall Highweight Handicap (G3) winner True Direction, and it will stand the six-year-old son of French Deputy at Lou Gurino’s Lou-Roe Farm in Morriston, Florida, for $3,000.
True Direction won eight of 19 starts and earned $348,570 during his four years on the track. He carried 134 pounds when winning the Fall Highweight as a three-year-old against older horses, and he won his four-year-old debut in 1:07.86 for six furlongs.
True Direction is out of the winning Tank’s Prospect mare Ms Paragon, a daughter of Grade 3 winner Jabot, by Bold Ruler. True Direction won his only start at six, a 2 1/2-length victory in an allowance/optional claiming on February 10 at Laurel Parkhis final career start.
